Amanda Ferguson

Grant Writer / PLANNER

Amanda brings extensive experience in large-scale project management, historic preservation, and federal grant acquisition and management to the Lund team. Previously the City Planner for the City of Cottage Grove - a position she held for 19 years - Amanda has a unique set of skills that will help any client address and analyze critical milestones, manage projects from start to finish with an eye toward fiscal diligence, articulate value propositions, and manage a myriad of opinions among a broad swath of stakeholders. Her primary concentration at LD Solutions is on writing state and federal grants and assisting clients in the navigation of governmental regulations.

Amanda holds a variety of professional certifications, including the American Institute of Certified Planners, and volunteers her time with a variety of community and professional organizations including the Cottage Grove Theatre, Cottage Grove Rotary and the Coast Fork Watershed Council. She serves on a variety of local Boards and is often featured as an organizer or speaker at professional conferences.

When not working on creating impact in her local community, Amanda is busy traveling the world with her husband, Davis, and kayaking (sometimes at the same time). Amanda received her Master of Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia's School of Environmental Design and her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Drama and History, also from the University of Georgia. She graduated Summa Cum Laude.
